In addition to the monitoring software, SMI provides a turn-key solution with integrated hardware and software, called the iTrend™ Server, for web-based monitoring of all types of equipment and systems in all industries. Our products provide leading-edge capabilities in remote and predictive monitoring, because they are based on SMI’s unique, patented techniques.

At the core of the two product lines is the iTrend™ software. The purpose of the software is to provide automated tending and alerting while giving the user powerful options to manage alerts and maintenance actions. It is designed to monitor all types of systems based on an open-system architecture. It is also designed to have ample flexibility to allow a user to configure his/her own remote monitoring solution. The basic features of iTrend™ includes data management, trending, fault detection, and alerting. Advanced features include filtering, fault isolation, health assessment, and failure prediction.

Our software is built upon an open architecture to facilitate inter-operability among disparate data sources and elements, so it can be interfaced with legacy control systems and existing enterprise resource planning (ERP) tools.
